Olea is the result of a project that the brewery has been conducting for years: converting all its creations to use only Italian raw materials (many self-produced). Coldiretti Lazio played a fundamental role in this growth path for the vision totally based on the principles of the circular economy, which are the basis of Olea. This explains the use of 100 kg of dried olive leaves from Lazio. Beautiful golden yellow with amber reflections, this beer sums up strong sensory characteristics attributable to the raw materials used. The use of the dried leaf mitigates the contribution of bitterness in the beer, without detracting from its functional aspect: the beer is balanced in smell and taste, with hints of bread crust, custard, ripening citrus fruits (orange, lemon), biscuit and barely noticeable notes of green tea, cola and tobacco leaf, increasingly noticeable as the temperature increases. There are quite evident spicy counterpoints, including saffron and coriander and a hint of smokiness that, we are sure, can be traced back to the large quantity of dried olive leaves. The aftertaste is clean and sharp, with a slight bitterness and a minute acidity but always and rightly present, to facilitate the sip.

WHO WE ARE
Always for Amatrice
For over 20 years we have been selecting and bringing the best products of our land to the tables of families. After the earthquake of August 24, 2016, we were forced to completely reorganize our business, facing numerous difficulties. Courage, support and love for our city have allowed us to move forward with the same determination as before. Today our shop is located inside the Il Corso Shopping Center, built temporarily to deal with the emergency. At the same time, we have created a new e-commerce to allow many people throughout Italy to purchase our products. We are still here, as we once were, to represent and promote the original gastronomic tradition of Amatrice.
